When Reagan had to face "Iran-Contra" he and his party claimed that everybody else around him except Reagan knew about it. So the claim went like this, Reagan is so stupid that everybody in his government knew what was going on except him.
Now Trump is going to do the same. Everybody around him might have been active in collusion with Russia except him.
