TAKE TRUMP'S DANGER SERIOUSLY

I am really scared this morning. Remember I have repeated a few times before, the only difference between Trumpism and Fascism is the lack of paramilitary groups and huge rallies in the Trump movement. I felt that sooner or later his movement will metamorphosis into a fascist movement by acquiring the same techniques. I was just waiting for it to happen. Trump loves big rallies of devoted fans and the ultra-rightist people around him could use these rallies to start a core of a paramilitary fascist group. Trump is right on his way on that road. This morning when I read his latest tweet, I had a view of Nuremberg, huge rallies, SA and SS. REMEMBER, PEOPLE WHO WERE LIVING IN GERMANY IN THE 30s DID NOT TAKE HITLER SERIOUSLY AT FIRST BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW BAD THINGS COULD GET. Those people laughed at the few who were predicting a disaster, those people said it does not matter, he is just a clown, and anyway, we are busier than to spend time resisting Hitler. We have our lives to live……. “And to lose later in the fascist catastrophy.”

Trump and corruption

Charging people $200,000 for membership of a private club you own where they can meet you is cashing in on the Presidency.

Trump and Putin

Playing golf with Trump?

I bet it’s hard to play golf with Trump, because every time he misses a putt, Kellyanne Conway comes out and explains that he actually won that hole.

People can influence Trump like a baby, or a third world dictator

Politico, for example, recently ran a piece quoting people close to him saying he “gets bored” easily and “likes to watch TV.” Soon after, an Axios report quoted presidential aides “jamming his schedule with meetings” in order to keep him distracted and out of trouble. A New York Times report, based on interviews with people close to Trump, soon after highlighted the president’s limitless ability to feel sorry for himself. A Washington Post report quoted sources who characterized him as lazy and petty.

The key to keeping Trump’s Twitter habit under control, according to six former campaign officials, is to ensure that his personal media consumption includes a steady stream of praise. And when no such praise was to be found, staff would turn to friendly outlets to drum some up – and make sure it made its way to Trump’s desk.

Putin and American elections

Until very recently, the biggest foreign intervention in an American election happened in 1940, when the United States was riven over whether to enter World War II. Both sides in the war got involved.
Nazi officials funneled money to delegates at the Democratic convention to get them to vote against Franklin Roosevelt’s nomination and also backed efforts to get Republicans to adopt an antiwar platform. British agents, as Politico has detailed, covertly paid for biased polls showing that Americans favored intervention and also worked to defeat a prominent isolationist member of Congress.
It’s possible that Britain’s efforts helped swing the Republican nomination to Wendell Willkie, an underdog who was far less isolationist than his rivals.
But that’s nothing compared with the 2016 meddling by Vladimir Putin’s Russia. In an election decided by fewer than 100,000 votes, Russia’s campaign to undermine Hillary Clinton looks like one of several factors significant enough to have affected the outcome.
In contrast with 1940, however, there is a big unanswered question about the ties between Putin and President Trump’s circle: Why do they exist in the first place? The motives of all parties in 1940 were clear, even if the details of the intervention took decades to emerge.
The reasons that Trump has seemed so eager to cozy up to Putin, by contrast, remain murky. There are potential business ties, political ties and ideological ties between the two. There is even Trump’s own explanation, which revolves around Syria (and the Islamic State).

The senior editor of Bannon's Breitbart defends pedophilia

This is disgusting but true. Video has appeared online from Milo Yiannopoulos in which he supports pedophilia. These internet trolls used to have such videos and discussions online and nobody paid any attention as long as they were left in their holes, but now that Bannon is the chief advisor to Trump, these old videos and writings are surfacing and causing them shame and showing their true colors.

After CPAC invited Breitbart senior editor Milo Yiannopoulos to speak at this year's gathering, video surfaced appearing to show the alt-right leader endorsing pederasty. The conservative conference was eventually forced to rescind the English internet troll's invitation.

Trump and Civil Unrest

Civil unrest will not be a problem for the Trump presidency. It will be a resource. Trump will likely want to enflame more of it.

ِDemocracy is based upon unwritten laws

What Trump’s rule teaches me is that democracy is mostly based upon unwritten laws that everybody respects them and acts based upon them. There are not many written regulations and laws that would really stop and hinder dictatorial manners. If somebody like Trump or Rob Ford are elected by less informed voters, they can really wreak havoc with democracy and its institutions. For example, there is no law on the books that can stop Trump saying the free media are the enemy of the people, or stop Rob Ford from banning Toronto Star from his media events.

Trumps' always on vacation?

Trump's rally today in Florida and Hitler's Storm Troopers

I am worried about Trump’s rally at Florida. Let me say this, and I consider it serious, it reminds me of Hitler and his rallies. I have always said the only difference between Trump’s movement with a fascist movement is the lack of paramilitary forces and huge rallies in Trump’s movement, at least up till now. I think anybody who loves democracy in America should be really worried now. This will be the “first rally” not the “only” rally. This could start a movement towards establishing a “Storm Troopers” group to frighten the opposition and the press. This could be the beginning of organizing the most anti-democratic forces and groups in American into organized paramilitary groups. And please don’t ignore this warning. When Hitler was elected, most people were not taking him seriously. They thought he is only a clown with hysterical behavior and a funny mustache. And we will pay hugely if we make the same mistake about Trump. Don’t forget Trump’s assistants and advisors are people like Banon and they know the history and they want to copy the history.
