Trump was among the first and only leaders who called Erdogan and congratulated him. Not many other leaders of the free world did that. Why? Because Trump has big businesses in Turkey and needs to be on good terms with whoever is ruling Turkey. Even if it was Hitler, Trump would have congratulated.
